Silly gooses threaten EU offices in Gaza

Later, two armed, masked men from one of the groups held a press conference on a sidewalk in Gaza warning of consequences if the nations did not apologize.

"It will be a suitable reaction, and it won't be predictable," said one of the men, Abu Hafss, identified as a commander of the Al Quds Brigade, an armed offshoot of the radical group, Islamic Jihad. The other group is the Al Yasir Brigades, connected to the Fatah party, badly beaten in last week's elections.

Another armed group connected to Fatah, the Abu el-Reesh Brigades, said that Norway, Denmark, France and Germany must apologize within 10 hours or their citizens here would be "in danger."

This is sickening. Hamas is not good for Palestine.
I'm not sure that either should expect any support or help from the rest of the world for some time. The former, at least, does not deserve any.
"We are angry — very, very, very angry," said Jamila Al Shanty, one of six women elected to represent Hamas in the Palestinian Parliament. "No one can say a bad word about our prophet."

Let's just stop and try to think what people are advocating here. Because some people believe in a religion, everyone loses the right to speak negatively about it, anywhere in the world. The followers of this religion are angry, not only at the people who printed these cartoons, but at the governments that refuse to punish them.

We have freedom of speech in the West. That means you may be angered--infuriated--but that just means you have to grow a thicker skin. I don't give a shit if you're angry. Violence, whining, and boycotts are just lame, compared to the strength of character it takes to support freedom of speech. Y'all are moral pussies and big silly gooses.

So long as these protests don't turn violent, I simply don't see what all the fuss is about. Groups in all countries call for boycotts, and they call for government censorship. Of course I think boycotting is pussy shit. I agree with the whole "idolotry" bit. But then again, I don't see the uproar in America when Christians boycott a film because it has a gay actor. Protest is protest, and so long as no one turns to violence, people should have as much right to empower themselves through boycotts as they do to express themselves in free speech.

In the meantime, I will support the European press, but I will call these cartoons what they really are: a needless and immoral provocation that exacerbates already existing tensions within communities. If the real goal here is to better integrate young arabs already toying with extremist ideas into European culture, I simply don't believe cartoons like this are the best way to do it.

This is not the same as protest in the united states about gay actors or other nonsense. Those are protests against fellow countryment, calling for them to behave more morally (from the view of the protesters).
The pulling out of ambassadors, the boycotting of business, all of this has one goal: to pressure the citizens and governments of European nations to censor the press. Thus it is different; it is not merely a moral reprimand but an attempt to use power to silence those who would speak their minds. It is thus ignoble, cowardly, and buffoonry.
The protests have already turned violent: the protesters are threatening the lives of European citizens, entering homes and offices, and carrying and shooting off guns. The fact that this kind of shit happens daily in Gaza does not excuse these people. They are thugs, dumbasses, cowards, pussies, stupid little shits, mother-fuckers, and big silly gooses.
If they didn't have guns I would be forced to go over there and make all of these little rascals sit in the corner for a couple days. Grow up, you big sillies!
