I'm sorry, but what make Alan Alda, or any celebrity for that matter, think I care what they have to say about life? Successful actors know little about real life, or haven't for a very long time, and start to delude themselves into thinking what they have to say is interesting to me. I stopped watching M*A*S*H because I was tired of the political message inserted into every single episode. I certainly don't want to buy a book to hear more of Alda's blabber.
