Actually, I just noticed on the wiki article this quote: " antithetical to the principles of inclusion and [i]populism[i] fundamental to democratic societies." (emphasis mine) Populism is fundamental to democracy??? Was this written by a member of the Bilderberg Group themselves? I must go, I fear the lines are being monitored.

Well, obviously this is creepy and devious and should alarm those of us who hope that as citizens we have *some* amount of control over our own government. The scariest thing is the appearance of Ahmad Chalabi. When are people going to stop listening to this fraud? Plus, you get him in the same room with Richard Perle, and somebody's ass gettin' air struck before the week's over.
I was going to correct my error to note that it was indeed Richard Perle in the meeting, not murdered journalist Daniel Pearl, but he could be there too...it's that freaking secret
Why is this obviously scary? Am I missing something?
In truth, it really isn't scary. I'm not afraid of rich old (or young) white guys, politicos, or whatever token (wealthy) minorities they've included. However, this is a profoundly inegalitarian, antidemocratic type of congregation, and any discussion they take up I feel can only be antithetical to any sort of real politics. Whether or not they actually are some sort of cabal or if they really do make profound decisions on world policy, or if they just get drunk, there's no room for this kind of aristocratic gladhanding and backpatting in a society. I find it disgusting let's say, if not scary

would someone explain how the aristrocratic nature of the bilderjew conference is any scarier than:
a) G8 conference
b) world bank
c) IMF
d) jack abramoff and his cronies penetrating US government
e) that our VP was CEO of halliburton

It's not, and it's of less significance than other more prominent cabals and crypto-aristocracies. however, this one was new to me.

Allegations were made to the effect that I am a neocon and Jack Abramoff penetrated the US government. They are all lies. The truth is that I penetrated Abramoff while the Neocons and US Government were watching. It is also not true that the Government ate a banana while all of this occurred. Thank you for your time.
The value (in Hebreic numerology) of Bilderberg is 2008, the first year their conspiracy known as "globalization" will take place.
"The Bilderberg Group" is also an anagram for "Big Brother Greed UPL," which must of course mean Houston, TX's Ultra Petroleum Corp. The plot thickens!
